Conor Pass
Dingle Peninsula
Ireland’s highest mountain pass in Ireland, with magnificent views of the Dingle Peninsula North Shore and southern panoramas of Dingle Bay and the Ring of Kerry. The Pass has sheer drops so not for those with no head for heights!
Conor Pass offers a breathtaking route across the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. Rising to 456 metres (1,496 feet) above sea level, the narrow, winding road weaves between towering cliffs and steep valleys, providing sweeping views of Brandan Bay, Mount Brandan, and the glacial lakes of Lough Doon and Lough Clogharee. Often shrouded in mist and offering glimpses of patchwork fields and distant coastlines, the pass delivers an unforgettable driving experience. Due to its tight turns and single-lane stretches, it’s best navigated with care—but the spectacular scenery makes it one of the peninsula’s most iconic routes.
